Out of all people from Iran, I am the one of the few people without familial ties to, and financial interests in Iran. I am best equipped to identify those who are here to harm us and the US.

Yet, the chilonim ostracize me. This has happened 100% of the time, with conservative Conservative/Reform Jews.

I hope they change the way they look at Judaism, because converts are as Jewish as they are.

I was invited to Shabbat dinners all the time and piece by piece began to recreate my own family. Without the support I received from the various Orthodox communities I could have never made it. I would have become a depressed person with nothing left to look for in NYC.

The problem was always with the conservative Conservative/Reform Jews who, probably out of just sheer ignorance about Judaism, discredited my journey and doubted my sincerity.

People who don’t even believe in Judaism as a religion, questioned the authenticity of my conversion.

On the other political and religious side of the spectrum, conservative Orthodox Jews have been extremely supportive. I left everything behind when I left Iran. That includes my possessions, academic credentials, family, and also friends.

I came to the United States with mere hundreds in my pocket and learned as much as I could to not only survive but also to thrive.

I used to speak at liberal Jewish institutions and tell them my story without adding a lot of my political views. I just gave them my perspective on America’s approach to Iran, they were fascinated and listened to me.

This was not the case with younger extreme left Jews who would call me anti-immigrant.
They are a different breed.

I’m going to be honest, so excuse my tone.

The conservative Conservative/Reform Jews (non-religious Zionists) have a big problem and here it is:

This is because Westerners want to differentiate between “good” and “bad” Middle Easterners, but they don’t realize that the Middle East see the West as entirely evil (sides of the political spectrum don’t matter).

This makes for good “useful idiots” in the liberal West.

nitter.privacydev.net/SasanRebels/status/1878156160152240462#m
